Dark History

Dark History — Introduction

A framework for resolving the conflict between Jewish people and the rest of Humanity, once and for all, without any more people getting hurt.

History is a Jewish value, one of the primary ones. So it shouldn’t be controversial to ask Jews to learn the dark side of our own history. I did it, and I’m still standing. Knowledge doesn’t hurt anyone. It’s the first step in healing.

This section is a course in that history – and in the accusations people make about it.

Why You Need to Know What People Believe

Even if a claim ultimately doesn’t pass the logic test, it’s still important to know the mechanisms of it, because the reality on the ground is that people do believe it. And if you want to engage with them to “deradicalize” them, you first have to know what they believe and why they believe it. It’s impossible to deradicalize someone from an ideology you know next to nothing about the workings of. Because you’re on the wrong end of Dunning-Kruger, and the person you’re deradicalizing can always cite that.

Sorry, but an antisemite knows far more about the arguments behind antisemitism than a person who isn’t an antisemite. And if you can’t explain the ideology itself, it’s epistemically disintegrous to assume that your purported “debunkings” of that ideology are valid debunkings – because you don’t even understand the ideology itself.

How Each Page Works

Every page in this section is held to the standard in Row 1 of the Treaty: real sources, no fabricated quotes, proven claims kept separate from alleged ones, and claims dropped when they fail the test. Every claim is falsifiable – and every claim must also be provable, with good enough evidence.

  1. What people believe – stated fairly, in its strongest form.
  2. Why it persuades them – the real facts it's built on.
  3. What the evidence actually shows – a clear verdict.
  4. How to talk about it – with someone who believes it.
